• Short intro - what's this, why should I be interested? Vision, philosophy (no leveling grindmill, focus on player creativity and simulated environment)
• Longer intro, full vision, mission, etc (about page).
• Screenshots (Maybe we could simply install a gallery application on the website, would allow adding more pics later, sorting them, linking to them, etc. Downside is requirement for yet another logon in that case..)
• Link to Java Webstartable client

[edit] Staying up to date

• Current status - is there a playable game? When is the next release expected, with what changes? What are we doing now?
• News (connect to a blog?) Can we pull in blog content? There was some RSS plugin for mediawiki I think.
• Calendar, with upcoming irc/in-game meetings, play sessions, stress tests, events, releases, etc.

• Link to bugtracker, planned releases, and feature candidates.
• Link to the game design docs on the wiki. Each design doc is also ideally an implementable blueprint for a feature scheduled for some release
• Link to mailing list signup and archives (sourceforge mailing lists have issues with attachments, but maybe we could use them anyway. Would be nice to get subscriber amount stats also.)
• Link to irc, and a web-to-irc gateway if practical (probably not hostable at NFS.net?)
• Link to irc archives and bookmarks (need some irc bot to run somewhere...)
• Link to developer guidelines (stored in wiki)
• Wiki editing guidelines
• Code browser, with colored text and linking?

• Continuous build status and test report

• Currently the website rendering breaks in konqueror, and doesn't look very good in IE. But still, the default wikipedia skin is not very fun. So either fix the skycastle skin eventually, or adapt some other configurable, good looking skin.

• Create a template for news posts, that has an author/poster field, date, title, and content.
• Todo, Question, and Note wiki templates.
• Add other boxes to the front page, e.g. screenshots?
• Custom bullet picture to sidebar (and main page?)
• Custom 'Skycastle' title text as an image.
• Publish the wiki skin when it is ready
  • Maybe make the subtitle of the page (and title image name) customizable from the wiki somehow?
• <thelsdj> 'User documentation' kinda pushes against the edge of the sidebar

[edit] Project and infrastructure TODO tasks

• Set up an IRC logging bot and link to its archives. Should have bookmark feature, and maybe some other utilities (add bookmark link to a wiki page feature?)
• Set up a Skycastle blog, containing the news and other reflections
• Set up an image gallery or similar for screenshots?
